Terfyn Pella Site Rules 2007
General
In these Park Rules the term Owner shall mean the person or organisation whose name and address appears in Part I of the relevant Licence Agreement for a Holiday Caravan Pitch and including his her or their assigns and successors, and the term Park Owner shall mean Terfyn Pella. and its assigns and successors.
The Park Owners shall take all reasonable steps and working practices to avoid any injury, death, sickness or delay of or to any person entering the Park whether the owner or occupier of a caravan or otherwise but shall not be liable for any injury, death, sickness or delay of or to any person entering the park whether the owner or occupier of a caravan or otherwise or for any loss. damage or detention of or to the property of any such person of whatsoever nature such injury, death, sickness, delay, loss, damage or detention may be and howsoever, whensoever and wheresoever the same may be caused save to the extent that the same is caused by negligence on the part of the Park Owners.
The Park Owners shall make every endeavor to ensure that every part of the park and all of the facilities thereon shall be available during the season but shall not be liable for any loss, damage or inconvenience of any nature whatsoever and to whomsoever the same may be caused arising out of the fact that any part of the park or any of the facilities thereon may not be available as a result of circumstances beyond the control of the Park Owners or of which the Park Owners have given notice prior to the commencement of the season.
The Park Owners reserve the right to amend the rules and regulations and shall also be entitled to vary or alter any existing rules and regulations in the interests of good management of the Park.
Site Licence
All occupiers at the Park must comply with the conditions attached to the site licence, which are on display in reception.
Permitted Number of Occupiers
No caravan holiday home shall be used for sleeping a number of persons greater than the number for which it was designed.
Subletting
The caravan is for the sole use of the licensee and immediate family and subletting is not permitted.
Terms
The terms covering the rights of the caravan owners to site a caravan on a pitch are set out in the licence agreement, which must be signed and returned to the site manager.
The Season
The Park is open for occupation between the 1st March and the Jan 14th each year.Please note these dates are flexible
Visitors to the Caravan Holiday Home
The Park is private property and we reserve the right to refuse anyone other than you and those lawfully staying with you permission to enter the Park.
We do not permit traders or salesmen access onto the Park, except with our prior consent.
Ejection on Grounds of Behaviour
We are entitled to eject anyone from the Park who acts in a manner likely to upset or annoy other users of the Park or our staff, or who is guilty of a criminal offence.
Pitch Responsibilities
If you wish to add, remove or make changes to the exterior of the caravan holiday home or pitch such as a veranda, shed or paving you must first produce plans of what is proposed and obtain our consent to do the work. Planning permission may be needed and we may attach reasonable conditions such as requiring an inspection at intervals during the course of construction.
Any such consent may be revoked at any time and shall terminate automatically upon termination of the Licence Agreement for a Holiday Caravan on the pitch and on termination or revocation the owner shall remove the same or the Park Owners may do so at the cost of the Owner.
You are totally responsible for the cleanliness of the caravan holiday home pitch.
You are responsible for keeping the area around the caravan holiday home clean and tidy.
T.V. aerials or satellite dishes are only permitted with the express written consent of the Park Operator.
The Winter
It is your responsibility to drain down and prepare the caravan holiday home for the winter.
All gas, electricity and water connections must be switched off during the winter. . Items of any value should be removed from the caravan holiday home and from any sheds or bunkers. Curtains and/or net curtains are to be left open or removed.
During the winter period the caravan will be stored entirely at the Owner's risk and the Park Owners shall not be responsible in any way whatsoever for any loss of or any damage to the caravan or its contents however caused.
The Owner shall be solely responsible for securing the caravan and shall ensure that the caravan and its contents are adequately insured throughout the winter period against all usual risks including flood, storm and tempest.
Services
All gas, electricity and water connections must be switched off when the caravan holiday home is not occupied.
If you experience any problems with the electrical, gas, water or drainage systems please contact us and do not attempt to work on the Park systems yourself.
The Owner shall be responsible for complying with all statutory regulations, requirements of competent authorities and recommendations of the National Caravan Council relating to the ventilation of the caravan. In particular the Owner shall ensure that all fixed ventilation openings, ventilation screens and grilles are kept clean and unobstructed at all times and that all gas appliances used in the caravan (including their installations and flues) are checked regularly (and not less frequently than once each season) by a competent gas fitter, with a copy of the safety certificate supplied to the Park Owners on an annual basis.
Drainage system
Do not introduce any foreign items into the drainage system including cleaning cloths, babies' nappies, sanitary towels, condoms, cooking fats, engine oil, grease or paint.
Tents
No tent is permitted on the Holiday Home Park.
Enclosure of Pitches
We do not permit the erection of fences or any means of enclosure of a caravan holiday home pitch.
Trees and Shrubs
You are not entitled to cut or plant trees or hedges at the Park. If you find any tree or hedge a nuisance or unsatisfactory, please take the matter up with us.
Digging
You must not dig any hole in the ground at the Park.
Vehicles
Speed should be kept to 10mph and pedestrians and cyclists must be given priority.
You must adhere strictly to all speed limits at the Park.
Driving under the influence of alcohol is not permitted on the Park.
Quad bikes, trial bikes, scooters and any other motorized vehicles are not permitted on the Park
Not more than one car may be parked at the caravan holiday home. Other cars must Park in the visitor's car park.
Drivers of vehicles are requested to keep to the designated road areas
No boats, dinghies or any other objects are to be stored between, underneath or close to any caravan.
Motor vehicle repairs may not be carried out at the park but a recognized breakdown service may attend in the event of a breakdown.
Only vehicles taxed and insured for use on a public road may be kept at the Park and we will remove any disused or broken-down vehicles.
You are not permitted to give anyone else driving lessons at the Park and we do not permit Learner Drivers to drive.
Washing cars with a hosepipe is not permitted. The use of Power Washers is also prohibited on the Park.
Behaviour/Noise
Please respect the privacy of other caravan holiday homeowners and keep noise to a minimum with absolute quiet between 12 midnight and 0700 hours.
Musical instruments, record players, radios and other appliances must not be used to cause annoyance
Please keep away from any vacant pitches.
Use of unlawful drugs at the caravan holiday home is a criminal offence and will lead to the termination of the Licence Agreement.
Barbecues must be finished by 11.00pm.
Alcoholic drinks may be consumed only in and around the immediate vicinity of your caravan holiday home. Prior permission off us will be required if you wish to consume alcohol elsewhere on the Park
Fireworks and firearms are not permitted at the Park
The Park Owners reserve the right to claim damages against an Owner when it can be proved that an occupant of that Owner's Holiday Home has caused damage to Park Property.
Pets
No pets allowed on site
Children
Children are the responsibility of their parents or guardians at all times.
Children are to be supervised at all times so that they are not a nuisance or danger to themselves or others.
You are responsible for all occupiers of your caravan holiday home.
Children may not ride bicycles skateboards, roller-skates, rollerblades or micro scooters so as to cause a nuisance or undue noise to others.
Recreation
No games may be played in the vicinity of caravan holiday homes and ball and other games shall be permitted only in the areas set aside for recreation.
Fire Precautions
The caravan must be equipped with adequate fire fighting equipment, which means as a minimum a 1kg Fire extinguisher, smoke detector and fire blanket. All to be maintained in a good condition and in full working order.
Fire hoses may not be used for any improper purpose such as washing cars or boats.
It is your responsibility to ensure that all occupants of your caravan holiday home are familiar with the location of the Fire Points and the contents of the Fire Notices displayed at each point
